A yellow fever vaccination certificate that will be presented at the point of entry is a mandate for travellers to Uganda. Passengers arriving within 6 days after leaving or transiting countries with a risk of Yellow fever transmission and not holding a yellow fever vaccination certificate are subject to vaccination upon arrival and possible quarantine measures.
Exempt from Yellow Fever Vaccination; Children under 1 year of age.
Travelers to Uganda must present a yellow fever vaccination certificate upon entry. Those arriving within 6 days from countries with yellow fever risk without the certificate may receive vaccination upon arrival and could face quarantine. Children under 1 year of age are exempt from the yellow fever vaccination requirement.
Visa-on-arrival services in Uganda are suspended for most countries and all travellers holding ordinary passports from countries whose citizens are required to have visas can follow http://www.visas.immigration.go.ug/ to apply for a visa online from where they will receive an approved notification that they have to print and carry as travel authorization.

However, travellers are required to have an invitation or conference letter in addition to a valid passport for at least 6 months.
