Explore Uganda’s unique fish species in Lake Victoria "the world’s 2nd largest fresh water lake" and the great River Nile “the longest river in the world". This is spiced up with Chimpanzee tracking in Kibale National Park, photo opportunity at the Equator within Lake Victoria to the wonderful wildlife of Murchison Falls National Park including its stunning sunrise/set. Explore Bigodi community and a guided top of the world hike to enjoy stunning views of Fort Portal and the Rwenzori Mountains. Arrive at Entebbe International Airport (fast track service included); and be handed over to our senior safari guide. Have a briefing and transfer to the hotel in Entebbe.

Have an early breakfast at the hotel; at 8:00AM meet your guide and transfer to Nakiwogo Landing Site – a gateway to Mabamba Swamp (Ramsar Site). From Nakiwogo transfer by boat to Mabamba Swamp, one of the best locations for bird enthusiasts.
Mabamba Swamp; is the best place to sight the Shoebill stork. The wetland accessed by a canoe ride is located on the North West of Entebbe Peninsular, along the edge of Lake Victoria, the wetland is a sanctuary for over 260 bird species. This popular birders’ hotspot, got its name from the local fishermen due to a huge quantity of lungfish “Mamba”, most sought after fish by fishermen as well as a favourite food for the shoebill. In addition to the Shoebill Stork, the other bird to expect include: Blue swallow, Pallid harrier, Papyrus Gonolek, Swamp flycatcher, Pigmy goose, Lesser jacana, Vie lot’s weaver, Grosbeak weaver, Black-headed weaver, Palm-nut vulture, Carruther’s Cisticola, Papyrus canary, Goliath heron, Malachite kingfisher, Gull-billed terns and more.
Thereafter sail to Entebbe and head to the airport. Arrive and proceed to check-in for your midday domestic flight to Kasese.
Upon landing at Kasese/Mweya Airstrip, transfer to the lodge. Check-in and have lunch; with the rest of the day at leisure. Use this time to explore lodge amenities: Choose any choice spa service – subject to availability. Dinner at the lodge.

Have an early breakfast at the lodge, and at 07:30AM transfer to Kilembe Mines Golf Club. Upon completing the necessary formalities, go golfing – half day games.
Kilembe Mines Golf Club is off Kilembe Road and only 04KM away from Kasese Town; on the foot of the snow-capped Rwenzori Mountains and nearby Queen Elizabeth National Park. This course is a 9–hole par 73 golfing facility and Uganda’s oldest, established in 1950’s. Golfing at Kilembe Mines spiced up with views of the Rwenzori Mountains.
At midday transfer to Mweya Safari Lodge for lunch upon arrival.
Next is Kazinga Channel Boat Cruise (exclusive experience): A Boat Cruise along the Kazinga Channel linking Lake George and Edward is a wildlife and bird watching spree. From the comfort of the boat, spot a number of birds such as the African fish eagle, pelicans, flamingos, Hammerkop, egrets, the African fin foot, pied kingfishers, marabou storks, vultures, kites and many more. The common animals are Elephants, hippos, buffalos, warthogs, crocodiles, waterbucks and more as most of them visit to water and cool off. Do not miss out the scenic views and sunset across Mweya peninsular. On your boat cruise: Choose two beverages from available on-board options; beer, wine, soft drink, and water as well as sampling dry and savoury snacks.

Wake up to an early sumptuous breakfast and check-out to start off with a game drive. At sunrise (6:30AM) go for a guided game drive in Queen Elizabeth National Park; this is the best time for a safari since the animals appear to be energetic and up for their long day ahead. On safari explore the highlights of this wonderful national park; expecting a variety of flora and fauna such as lions, as well as sighting several crater lakes like Nyamunuka – medicinal to the animals and Munyanyange – frequented by flamingos. Proceed to Lake Katwe mingle with the locals, learn about traditional salt mining and the local lifestyle of the area’s residents.
Continue to Ishasha for a hot lunch followed a safari and sundowner experience.
In the afternoon: Start off with a game drive in the park’s Ishasha Sector: At Ishasha expect to spot the Tree climbing lions (the chances are limited as animals move to distant places searching for food); however, this is the highlight of this section, thus its popularity in the entire national park. Tree climbing lions are regularly spotted hanging up in acacia and fig trees, trying to avoid tsetse flies and other ground insect bites, and they prefer trees as the best spot for locating their next prey. Continue with a Sundowner in Ishasha: Sundowners are be arranged in the late afternoon at a scenic and intimate location; along the ridge area or besides Ntungwe River for guests to savour the vast vistas and atmosphere of the wilderness. This experience involves splendid views as you sample locally brewed brands, a cup of coffee or juice and snacks at fall of dusk.
Return to the lodge late evening and refresh for dinner at leisure.
Queen Elizabeth National Park is Uganda’s most popular national park, one of the savannah Parks found within Kasese district – Western Uganda, it spreads to the western arm of the Great Rift Valley; and is home to a variety of wild animals including elephants, lions, hippos, buffalo, Uganda kob, baboon, and many species of birds. With both a riverine and savannah kind of habitats, the park includes the southern Ishasha area with its tree-climbing lions and Imaramagambo, one of the largest surviving natural forests in Uganda.

Have breakfast at the lodge. At 08:00AM transfer to Kihihi Garuga Golf Course. Arrive and get briefed to go golfing in an 18-hole green field in a serene atmosphere!
Kihihi Garuga Golf Course; is located in South Western Uganda, very close to the major tourist sites and Kihihi Airstrip. It has 18 holes totalling to par 71 with a total length of 7189 yards. This golf course is one of a kind as it gives you a feel of Uganda’s off the beaten track countryside together with a breath-taking scenery – wilderness experience.
After your half day games, return to the lodge for lunch and refreshment.
After lunch go for Ishasha Community visit: Take this tour and explore how the Bakiga Women, prepare their traditional foods. Get to know how the ingredients are locally grown and harvested, witness the preparation process (grain grinding, cooking, and serving). You will as well explore the local lifestyle of the people within Ishasha; it is an opportunity to learn a few word in the local language. Continue to Kameme Village for cultural entertainment: Experience the traditional Kikiga dances performed by a youthful cultural group, well trained in the art of dancing, drumming and singing folk songs. Some songs are traditional and others are composed to sensitize about the relevance of nature conservation and sustainable travel. Return to the lodge for dinner at leisure.

Wake up and refresh at the lodge and check-out (pick-up time 06:30am). Thereafter go for a bush breakfast in Ishasha Sector at sunrise (weather conditions permitting). Your Bush Breakfast is prepared by a professional chef.
After breakfast, have a brief game drive in Ishasha before setting off to Bwindi.
Ishasha dawn game drive (2 hours): Ishasha Sector is notably recognized for its resident Tree climbing lions; an exceptional highlight within the southern section of Queen Elizabeth National park. The landscape here is considerably different from that found in the other parts of the park. This popular wildlife hotspot not only unveil its resident Tree Climbing Lions but as well a huge diversity of wildlife. Besides the tree Climbing Lions, at sunrise you will sight huge buffalo herds, numerous antelopes, African elephants and also watch out for the numerous hippos. Driving along the game tracks studded within acacia trees, you will spot several butterflies commonly found within this area.
After this safari, you immediately depart to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. Lunch served at a restaurant en-route to Bwindi.

After an early breakfast you will be handed a lunchbox and mineral water to put in your backpack, then proceed to the park office. Upon completing your park formalities, you will embark on a once in a life time experience of tracking Uganda’s mountain gorillas.
Once you meet the gorillas on a tracking adventure, you are allowed between 1 to 2 hours watching and photographing them. This is perhaps one of the most breath-taking primate experience on earth!!! You stare at each other blankly not knowing who to break the long silence first. These massive primates are extremely rare, with less than 1000 living today, but you will get within meters with the gorillas photographing and observing their unique character. Gorilla tracking is fairly strenuous experience which takes between 1 to 2 hours at a relatively high altitude. The chances of seeing the gorillas are at 99%; so this is a guaranteed primate experience.
Your ranger guide will identify a safe and scenic spot where you can settle for a picnic lunch after which you will proceed with the Trek or return to the lodge. (Subject to change).
Planned Activities: Buniga Batwa trail and Top of the World Sundowner walk
Buniga Batwa Cultural Trail – this trail exhibits a mutual relationship between the Batwa and the jungle before their expulsion in the process of converting this forest into a protected reserve. In a bid to promote their unique heritage and traditions; the Batwa will walk you through their small pocket forests, showcasing their ancient forest life during their occupation of the rain forest. Approach the Batwa settlement and observe how the women go about cooking and serving a traditional meal. Continue to visit herbalists so as to explore the various herbs plus medicinal significance, and listening to ancient legends alongside traditional songs. You will as well explore their lifestyle (from religion to food gathering, hunting skills, and creating fire from rubbing sticks). Additionally; you will as well walk across a rich biodiversity composed of indigenous plant species (with medicinal benefits) such as the Giant lobelias, tree ferns, and Syzygium, with over 100 bird species alongside mammals such as Duikers, B/W colobus monkeys, red-tailed monkeys.
Have a sundower at Nkuringo’s scenic Top of the World; several drinks and snacks will be served as you experience a golden sunset across the tropical rainforest (subject to change).
Return to the lodge late evening to refresh for dinner at leisure.
Bwindi Impenetrable Forest: Located in south-western Uganda, Bwindi Impenetrable Forest is said to be Africa’s oldest rainforest. It is world-renowned for its excellent gorilla-sighting opportunities. The rugged landscape features dense jungle, cascading waterfalls, sparkling mountain streams, deep valleys and steep ridges. This untouched forest has been declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site because of its breath-taking natural beauty and unique ecological significance. Aside from the amazing gorilla interactions, there are other draw cards such as a network of forest walks, over 340 bird species and several butterflies.
