Tour Itinerary
Upon your arrival at the airport, you will be met by your driver and be transferred to your hotel for the next few nights. The Avani Victoria Falls Resort is a perfect base from where to explore the Zambezi River and the Victoria Falls, along with all the various activities on offer in this area.

Today is a full day available to explore the various offerings of the destination, there is a huge variety of optional activities to choose from. You can start your morning with a unique interaction at the Elephant Cafe, where you can learn about the magnificent elephants and even feed them.
Get your adrenaline pumping with an exhilarating white-water rafting adventure on the mighty Zambezi River. You can also embark on a guided tour of the majestic Victoria Falls, also known as Mosi-oa-Tunya, meaning "The Smoke That Thunders" in the native language.
As the sun begins to set, board a scenic sunset cruise on the Zambezi River or opt for a special evening adventure on the Royal Livingstone Express for a luxurious steam train safari. Alternatively, if you have a thirst for adventure, consider a full-day trip to Chobe National Park in neighbouring Botswana.
Whether you choose to relax onboard a luxurious train or embark on a wildlife safari, day two promises an unforgettable and diverse experience in Zambia.
Return to the lodge after the adventures and stay at leisure.

After breakfast, you will be transferred to the airport for your scheduled flight to South Luangwa. From Lusaka, you will board your flight to South Luangwa, where you will be met by your guide for a transfer to the Kafunta River Lodge, South Luangwa.
Kafunta River Lodge is the ideal base to explore the bounty of South Luangwa and the next few days will prove to be worth it.
