This amazing safari brings the best of North and Eastern Uganda. The journey starts in Entebbe through Kampala to Jinja, continues eastwards to Kapchorwa to home of Uganda’s best Athletes, Mount Elgon and Sipi Falls. Head North to Kidepo through Moroto. This Area was described by CNN as the true African Jungle. This safari is a mix of scenery, history, wildlife, people and Culture.

At 7: 45 am you will be met by a member of our team for a meet and greet plus briefing session. You will also be introduced to your driver Guide. Your journey to Jinja will then commence.
En-route to Jinja, you can stop over at Sezibwa Falls (optional)
Sezibwa Falls: A Buganda cultural heritage site located in Mukono district. According to a traditional legend, the two rivers “Sezibwa and Bwanda” were born by a woman on her way to Kavuma – Bukunja.
The woman gave birth to two twins (Wasswa & Kato, boy twins in Buganda) in form of water, whereupon Sezibwa flowed west, past many obstacles deriving its name (which means ‘’nothing blocks my way’’), while Bwanda flowed east towards Nyenga. Many traditional people conduct pilgrimages to this site as they believe it has supernatural powers.
Enjoy activities like; rock climbing, nature walks & sightseeing, birding, cultural encounters and storytelling.
On arrival in Jinja, take a lunch break then proceed to the source of the Nile.
Boat cruise to the source of the Nile: Here is yet another opportunity to visit the source of the world’s longest river.
Then get to the historical monuments:
Mahatma Ghandi monument: Unveiled by the prime minister of India in 1997, memory of the world’s apostle of peace and non-violence who was killed in 1948.
Speke monument: Commemorates John Hannington Speke, an early explorer who discovered the great river Nile in 1856.

After a sumptuous breakfast, venture out for a village /community tour
Here you will cross the river by boat to Bujagali where the tour begins. Alternatively, you may choose to go for a horseback safari.
Have an early lunch at about 12: 30 and at 13: 20 start your journey to Sipi.
Travel Distance is 190Kms – 4 hours’ drive.
On arrival, check in to your lodge and recuperate from the journey.

In the morning after breakfast, start off your day with touring Sipi Falls.
You will hike on Winding trails leading you through local communities to roaring waterfalls, lush farms and forests, and magnificent views of the Karamoja plains. Sipi Falls is a hiker's paradise waiting to be explored. The site guide will take you on a moderate hike (not too steep) for about 2-3 hours where you can see two of the three water falls.
In the afternoon, you will take a guided Sipi Coffee tour
Trace the story of coffee from seed to cup. Sipi Falls Arabica Coffee is some of the finest in the world. Meet local farmers to tour their plantation and learn about the lifecycle of the crop and their role in the process. Visit and tour the local processing plant to see the selected green beans before shipment. Finally learn the traditional art of roasting your own coffee and enjoy your own cup.

Today you will leave Sipi at exactly 07:30 am and head north to Moroto. On arrival check in to your lodge for lunch.
In the afternoon, immerse yourself in Karamojong culture. The afternoon is spent participating traditional games, daily activities as preparing staple foods, harvesting, beading, learning, dance, how to shoot bow and arrow and traditional friendly wrestling.

Sleeping a night with the Karamojong Warriors in the Kraal
Experience typical Karamojong pastoral life by sleeping a night with the animals and shepherds in the Kraal. Help bringing the cows to the kraal, share stories around the campfire, play games with the warriors and learn how all about nomadic life

Breakfast on a leisurely morning & travel to the most beautiful safari park as you enjoy the beautiful scenery; unfortunately, we shall not be visiting the Cattle market in Kotido because it only happens on Wednesday / Monday, where herders buy and sell their goats, cows and chicken. It is a very interesting experience.
The ride to Kidepo is quite scenic.
You will spend the rest of the day enjoying the Lodge with all meals here.

One of Uganda’s most beautiful reserves, the remote Kidepo Valley National Park stretches across broad swathes of savannah studded with hills and rock clusters and is traversed by the forest-flanked Lorupei River. It is home to roughly 80 mammal species, 28 of which are found at no other park in the country, and is particularly well known for its rich population of raptors and over 450 species of bird. An evening game drive is scheduled to maximize the chances of seeing the elusive big cats plus nocturnal animals.

After an early breakfast, you will have a game drive through the delta circuit, reputably known for high concentrations of wildlife. Return to the lodge and spend the rest of the morning at leisure.

Lions, leopards including elephants, giraffes, buffaloes, hyenas, hartebeests, oribi, Uganda Kobs, chimpanzees, and monkeys.
In the afternoon, you will go for the superb launch cruise on the Nile. In addition to taking you close to the base of the waterfall, the 3-hour launch trip follows a stretch of the Nile with a compelling African atmosphere. Game viewing is excellent with stunning birdlife.

Well-trained Rangers will take you through the territory of endangered Southern White Rhinos by foot. It is a great opportunity to watch these endangered magnificent creatures in their natural habitat.
