Today you will wake up at about 05:00am, have an early breakfast and leave for the airport at 5:45 am. Check in for your domestic flight to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park opens at exactly 06:00am.
Enjoy the scenic flight and upon landing at either Kihihi/ Kisoro airstrip, you will find another member of our team waiting to transfer you to the lodge. The travel time will depend on the lodge booked or sector where you will trek gorillas. It can be anything from 60-90 minutes long.
Get to the lodge, check-in and stay at leisure as you wait for lunch.

Community Village Walk / Batwa Cultural trail
This walk provides guests with an opportunity to support the local community whilst enjoying visiting various interesting places as you follow a walking trail through the village. Get a chance to interact with the Batwa – indigenous forest people. Highlights include the traditional healer, banana brewery and visit a local Primary school where you may interact with the children.

After an early breakfast, you will be handed a lunchbox and mineral water to put in your backpack. Head to the park headquarters for briefing which starts at exactly 8:00am. After briefing, Gorilla Tracking will commence. It is a very captivating and unforgettable experience which more than repays the effort needed to reach Bwindi. Gorilla Tracking starts at 8:30 am and can last from a few hours to a whole day based on the previous location of the gorillas.
During the trek, your ranger guide will identify a safe and scenic spot where you can settle for a picnic lunch after which you will proceed with the Trek. (Subject to change)
