Best Time To Visit Namibia

Although the country can be visited year-round, the best time to visit Namibia is the dry season, which runs from June to October. The dry season is the greatest time to see wildlife in all of the parks, but Etosha in particular.

The weather is usually pleasant and dry. Some days between December and March will be humid, and rain—often in the form of isolated afternoon thunderstorms—may ensue. Animals disperse around the park during the wet season, staying away from the waterholes.
