Rwanda offers a range of accommodation that spans basic camps to safari lodges to luxury urban hotels, from all of which it is possible to experience the sights, sounds and distinct feel of the country, including, of course, its famous gorillas and other primates.
Rwanda is still very much off the beaten track and it's important to recognize this when planning a trip here. The range of accommodation is limited, and in some instances the only option is a simple guesthouse.
In places, such as Volcanoes National Park, however, there are several places to choose from, ranging from basic camps to more luxurious lodges. Standards of service and food vary but enthusiasm is much more universal, one of the undoubted charms of the country.
