Reduction Of Carbon Footprint

We Encourage Our Staff And Clients To Reduce Their Carbo Foot Print In The Following Ways.

• We Ensure That Computers, Printers And Other Electronic That Are Not In Use Are Properly Switched Off To Save Energy.
• We Do Not Print Documents Unless It Is Really Important. Otherwise We Electronically Transit Documents, Safari Itineraries And The Likes.
• Use Of Single Use Plastic Or Disposable Plastic Products Is Strictly Prohibited.
• Out Staff And Clients Eat Organic Meals. We Encourage A Farm To Fork Policy Where Only Fresh Foods Are Served. This Is Also A Big Consideration While Choosing Safari Lodges, Restaurants And Eateries For Our Clients. Many Hotels And Lodges We Contract Especially Those Away From The Cities, Are Now Investing In Alternative Energy Sources. Solar Power, In Particular, Is The Preferred Alternative, And Most Responsible Properties Today Use Some Kind Of Solar System For Their Electricity And Water Heating.

“Slow Travel”

We Encourage The Emerging “Slow Travel” Trend By Going To Fewer Places And Spending More Time In Each.  For Instance, We Give Our Clients Options Like Walking Safaris, Cycling, Or Horseback Riding Instead Of Driving. Where possible, We Also Encourage Tourists To Travel By Road And Not By Air To Reduce Carbon Emissions.

Sadly, This Kind of Giving Often Has Unintended Consequences. Most Times, The Receivers Develop A Begging Syndrome And Loose The Zeal To Work. That Is Why We Started Women In Hospitality Uganda To Help Us Empower Women Who Are At The Fore Front Of Fending For Families. Not Only Is This Breaking The Law, But Buying Wildlife Products Inadvertently Helps To Support A Growing Marketplace For Trafficking Rare And Endangered Wildlife Products As Souvenirs. In The Same Light, Please Do Not Disturb Flora And Fauna Especially In Protected Areas.
