Early breakfast at your lodge and depart around 07h00 with your guide for a full-day exploration of the region’s most iconic landmarks. Your first stop is Sossusvlei, home to the towering Dune 45, one of the most photographed dunes in the world. Climb to its crest for breathtaking views over the Namib Desert’s sweeping sands. Continue to the ethereal white clay pan of Deadvlei, where centuries-old, sun-bleached camelthorn trees stand in stark contrast against the vivid red dunes and cobalt-blue sky — a scene unlike anywhere else on earth. Conclude your excursion with a visit to Sesriem Canyon, a dramatic natural gorge carved by the Tsauchab River, revealing layers of ancient geological history.
For an optional sunrise experience, consider a hot air balloon ride over the desert. Drift silently above the stunning landscape, taking in panoramic views of the dunes and valleys below. Upon landing, enjoy a celebratory glass of champagne followed by a full breakfast. Activity costs: 530$ per person.
Return to your lodge in the late afternoon, with the evening free to relax and recuperate.
