The Okavango Delta is renowned for its incredible wildlife, with some of the most sought-after species, including elephants, lions, leopards, buffalo, giraffes, hippos, crocodiles, and many species of antelope. The Delta is also a birdwatcher’s paradise with over 450 species.  It is one of the world’s largest inland deltas and a unique natural wonder, home to an incredible array of wildlife and a diverse range of habitats, from grasslands and savannas to wetlands and floodplains.

We strongly recommend early arrival: Upon arrival at Maun International Airport, our guides will meet you and start your day 1 in the early morning hours. After a briefing, begin a 5–6-hour road transfer to Moremi Game Reserve. The trip will include game viewing in Moremi. Arrive at the camp in the late afternoon and be welcomed by our team, followed by a refreshing shower and dinner before overnighting.

Overnight: Xakanaxa Camp

Meal Plan: Full Board (Dinner, Breakfast and Lunch)

This day begins with a light breakfast, followed by a morning game drive in the Moremi area. The drive concludes with a quick stop for coffee and biscuits before slowly heading back to the camp for lunch and some rest. In the afternoon, guests have the chance to enjoy a boat cruise along the winding channels and lagoons of the Okavango Delta. Afterward, our guides will select a scenic spot to enjoy a sundowner with glasses of wine before returning to camp for dinner and overnight.

Meal Plan: Full Board (Breakfast, Lunch Dinner)

Journey Time: Approx. 2 Hours

Breakfast will be served at the lodge followed by check-out. Then, you'll depart by road to Khwai Community Concession. In the afternoon, upon arriving at the planned accommodation, you'll be greeted with a welcome drink and then check in. After refreshing, the dining area will be the meeting spot for the last meal of the day.

Overnight: African Excursions Guest House

Meal Plan: Half Board (Dinner and Breakfast) 

An early wake-up call from our guides for a light breakfast, then head out for a morning game drive in the Khwai Concession. After returning to camp for lunch, you can enjoy hot showers and a well-deserved siesta. You will then be transferred to the mokoro station, which is a 30-minute drive from the guest house. Experienced polers will then pole you on a traditional dugout canoe along the Khwai River for 2 hours. Afterwards, a call for an early dinner follows, allowing you to go on a night game drive in the Khwai Concession. Finally, return to camp for an overnight stay.

Overnight: African Excursions Guest House

Meal Plan: Full Board (Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner)

You will be treated to a full English breakfast on your last day before bidding farewell to our team. Travel to Maun with our guides, accompanied by some game viewing in the Moremi Game Reserve with brief stops at riverbanks for photography—arrival at the Maun International Airport marks the end of service; then proceed to check in for departure.
