Pickup Time: 07:00AM. Enjoy an early breakfast at the lodge followed by check-out. Depart Bwindi for Queen Elizabeth National Park, arriving in time for lunch at Mweya Safari Lodge. The afternoon includes a boat cruise to explore the park’s diverse bird wildlife and animals. Afternoon Activity: Kazinga Channel Boat Cruise–Following lunch, embark on a captivating boat cruise along the Kazinga Channel, a prime opportunity to observe a diverse array of bird species including African fish eagles, pelicans, Hammerkop, egrets, African fin-foot, pied kingfishers, marabou storks, vultures, and kites. The cruise also offers excellent wildlife viewing, with frequent sightings of hippos, buffaloes, warthogs, crocodiles, waterbucks, and other animals gathering at the water’s edge to drink and cool off. Additionally, the journey provides a glimpse of the traditional fishing villages that line the shores. Following the boat cruise, visit and explore the traditional salt works at Lake Katwe.
Thereafter, proceed to the lodge for check-in and time to refresh before dinner. No additional activities are scheduled.
