This mostly scenic tour is a great opportunity to track the wonderful Chimps of Kibale plus a cultural experience in the nearby Bigodi Community. Explore the stunning scenery of Queen Elizabeth National Park with a boat cruise taking you close to a variety of birds, wildlife and crater lakes. Continue to the home of Zebras & natural salt licks, on a walking safari.

After an early breakfast, at 6AM start off your journey to Kibale National Park.
Kibale National Park is home to the highest population of primates in Africa. Although the highlight of the park is the habituated chimpanzees, the treetops are alive with all manner of monkeys including: red-tailed monkeys, L’Hoest’s monkeys, grey-cheeked Mangabey, red colobus with colobus monkeys sighted here. When you’re not searching for monkeys there are over 300 bird species and an incredible 250 species of butterfly to keep you busy.
On arrival visit Tinka’s Homestead from where you will have a local Ugandan lunch. After lunch go for Bigodi Community Tour – cultural visits only.

Have an early breakfast and head to the park headquarters for briefing by 8AM. Thereafter go Chimpanzee tracking plus sighting of more primates such as Ugandan Mangabey, red-tailed monkeys, de brazza’s monkey, red colobus monkey, black & white colobus monkey, blue monkeys, and baboons that reside in Kibale National Park.
After tracking, travel to ‘’a medley of wonders’’. On arrival head to the lodge, check-in and have an early lunch. After lunch, next will be a boat cruise on Kazinga Channel.
Boat Cruise; this is the main activity after lunch where you will spot a number of birds like; the African fish eagle, pelicans, flamingos, Hammerkop, egrets, the African fin foot, pied kingfishers, marabou storks, vultures, kites and many more, together with animals like hippos, buffalos, warthogs, crocodiles, waterbucks and more as most of them visit to water and cool off.
Time permitting, you will have a dusk game drive. What to expect includes; various bird species and animals such as elephants, buffaloes, hippos, impalas, waterbucks, Kob, and warthogs. Return to the lodge for dinner at leisure.

After an early breakfast, visit Kyambura Gorge located in the southern part of the park.
Kyambura Gorge “Valley of Apes” is located on the far eastern corner of the Park. The landscape here is among Uganda’s most impressive with a rich wildlife bio-diversity comprises of primates, wild animals & birds. Several bird species such as the African Fin foot, as well as falcons & many more call this place home. Forest hogs can be seen here as well as the 3 salty crater lakes. Have fun doing a guided nature walk in Imaramagambo Forest, known for Bat Caves, Rock Pythons and crater lakes near the gorge such as Lake Kyasanduka & Lake Nyamasingiri. A breath-taking scenery awaits you.
From Kyambura Gorge continue to Lake Mburo National Park, with lunch En-route.
On arrival at Lake Mburo, check-in at the lodge and keep luggage in your rooms.
Thereafter, next is an Ankole Cattle – farm visit; enjoy farm activities like cattle rearing, and milking with a golden sunset.
Return to the lodge later and refresh for dinner.

After an early breakfast, you will go for a guided walking safari for an up-close wildlife experience.
Expect a variety of flora and fauna comprised of zebras, Roth’s child giraffes, elands, wart hogs, and topi. During your game walking safari Visit the salt licks and watch animals licking salty mud at a viewing platform.
You can choose to explore the park on foot in company of a ranger guide. On your walking safari, enjoy seeing animals grazing and take amazing pictures.
After this adventure, return to the lodge for lunch and refreshment.
The day’s optional activities to pick from include: Horseback rides, Mburo bike tour or a nature walk in Rubanga forest.

Journey time: 4 – 5 Hours
Have breakfast at the lodge on a leisurely morning. At midday, depart Lake Mburo National Park back to Kampala via the Equator at Kayabwe.
Make a stopover at the equator for an En-route lunch and a photo opportunity. Thereafter proceed to Kampala City.
Arrival is foreseen in the evening with the rest of the day at leisure.

Thereafter transfer to Entebbe International Airport to check in for your outbound flight.
