Get close to the unique wildlife of Uganda’s largest National Park with a visit to the top of one of the world's most powerful waterfalls. You have an opportunity to stop over at Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary to track Rhinos with an optional boat cruise on the Nile to the bottom of the falls.

The activities of the day call for an early start therefore you will have an early breakfast (or chose to pack it for later) then leave Kampala for Murchison Falls National Park at 06:00am

Planed Activity
• En-route to Masindi 3 hours’ drive out of Kampala, make a stopover at Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary to track the Rhinos before proceeding to the National Park.
Upon entrance into the park, visit the top of the falls; here you will spot a permanent rainbow right from the top. The view is rewarding as it explains why Murchison Falls features on many travellers’ bucket lists.

After an early breakfast, you will have a game drive through the delta circuit, reputably known for high concentrations of wildlife. This 4-5-hour game drive will reward you with stunning views of the savannah and other plant vegetation like the acacia and borassus palm trees. These are propagated by elephants all the way from the Democratic Republic of Congo. Later on, drive back to the lodge and enjoy your lunch.
In the afternoon go for a launch cruise on the Nile; offering you a chance to see a variety of wildlife as you enjoy the stunning views along the world’s second longest river. In addition to taking you close to the base of the waterfall, this 3-hour launch trip follows a stretch of the Nile with a picturesque African scenery. Hippos in their hundreds.
Expect to see some of the following;
• The Nile crocodiles
• Small herds of buffalo, waterbuck, and kobs
• Elephants
The captivating birdlife on the river bank include Goliath heron, saddle-billed stork, African Jacana, Pied and malachite kingfishers, African skimmer, Piacpiac, rock pratincole kingfishers, bee-eaters and many more.
