This tour is suitable for travellers with a very short holiday but would like to do a gorilla trek, as well as those on a business visit (MICE) where 2-3 days can be spared for a little bit of adventure in Uganda “the Pearl of Africa”. Enjoy the most flexible domestic flight (morning or afternoon flight) from Entebbe with comfortable transfers to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. Go track the rarely seen mountain gorillas and interact with the Batwa of Bwindi.

Tour Itinerary
Flight Duration: 1 Hour: 30 Minutes
Transfer Duration: 1 Hour: 30 Minutes
Upon arrival at Entebbe International Airport, you will be assisted by a member of our team to proceed to the check-in area for a domestic flight to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park.
On landing at Kihihi Airstrip, transfer by road on a 1:30Min drive to the lodge.
Get to the lodge, check-in and have lunch with a cultural tour in the afternoon.
Planned activity:
Buhoma Community Village Walk / Batwa Cultural trail
This walk provides guests with an opportunity to support the local community while visiting various interesting places. You will follow a walking trail through the village with amazing views of Bwindi Impenetrable forest in the background. Get a chance to interact with the Batwa – indigenous forest people. Highlights include the traditional healer, banana brewery and visit a local Primary school where you may interact with the children.

Meal Plan: Full Board
After an early breakfast, you will be handed a lunchbox and mineral water to put in your backpack. Head to the park headquarters for briefing which starts at exactly 8:00am. After briefing, Gorilla Tracking will commence. It is a very captivating and unforgettable experience which more than repays the effort needed to reach Bwindi. Gorilla Tracking starts at 8:30 am and can last from a few hours to a whole day based on the previous location of the gorillas.
During the trek, your ranger guide will identify a safe and scenic spot where you can settle for a picnic lunch after which you will proceed with the Trek.
