About 3 days 2 Nights Gorilla Express From Kampala
Driving from Entebbe/Kampala to Bwindi is quite long but very scenic. This trip is ideal for travellers who love road trips. It has a gorilla trek, cultural/community tours plus nature walks. It is great as an add-on tour after seeing the rest of East Africa.

Tour Itinerary
Journey Time: 8 – 9 Hours
Best for very early arrival (Approx. 5AM). At Entebbe International Airport you will have a meet and greet conducted by our safari guide. After briefing, immediately start off your journey to Bwindi Impenetrable N. Park via Masaka City. Make a brief stopover at the Equator – photo opportunity.
Make another lunch stopover in Mbarara, thereafter continue to Bwindi arriving at the lodge.

Meal Plan: Half Board
After an early breakfast, you will be handed a lunchbox and mineral water to put in your backpack. Head to the park headquarters for a briefing which starts at exactly 8:00am. After briefing, Gorilla Tracking will commence. It is a very captivating and unforgettable experience which more than repays the effort needed to reach Bwindi. Gorilla Tracking starts at 8:30 am and can last from a few hours to a whole day based on the previous location of the gorillas.
During the trek, your ranger guide will identify a safe and scenic spot where you can settle for a picnic lunch after which you will proceed with the Trek. (Subject to change)
In the late afternoon after a successful Gorilla Trek, go for Batwa cultural and community tour; learn about their way of life including hunting skills, herbal medicines, child upbringing, preparing of traditional food and drinks which will be crowned with an energetic music and dance performance.
Return to the lodge for dinner

After an early breakfast, at 6:00AM depart Bwindi for via Kampala City to Entebbe. Make a lunch stop-over en route thereafter proceed to Entebbe Int. Airport – check-in for your onward departure (late flight advised).
