Kenya lies on the equator. So, it has different climatic regions, which vary according to the alternation of the monsoon winds from the Indian Ocean.

Annually, Kenya Experiences two distinct dry seasons and two rainy seasons.

Dry season

  • December or mid-December to March,
  • July to October.

Wet Season

  • April to June (long rainy season) 
  • November to mid-December (short rain)

However, the climate is tropical on the coast. The days are mostly warm and sunny with low humidity in the highlands.
