Planned Daytime Activities: Guided Forest Walk/Hike (up to 2 hours): Embark on a leisurely exploration of the forest ecosystem, gaining insight into the region’s diverse flora and fauna. Manyara Treetop Walkway Experience (45 minutes): Traverse the elevated canopy walkway, providing exceptional panoramic views of the forest and opportunities to observe avian species in their natural habitat. Mto Wa Mbu Village Walk and Cultural Visit (up to 2 hours): Participate in a culturally enriching guided tour of Mto Wa Mbu village, engaging with local communities to understand the traditional customs.

Night Activity: You are required to have an early dinner at the lodge before pick-up. Pick-up Time: 06:00AM. After an early breakfast at the lodge, set out for a morning game drive to experience the park at sunrise. Lake Manyara’s guided morning safari offers breathtaking views, framed by the Great Rift Valley escarpment, and is a haven for bird enthusiasts. As you explore, capture stunning sightings of giraffes, herds of elephants, zebras, wildebeests, impalas, and more than 400 bird species. Keep an eye out for the park’s famous tree-climbing lions—a signature highlight of Manyara. After the safari, return to the lodge for an early lunch.

After lunch visit Lake Eyasi: Experience the rich cultures of the Hadzabe and Datoga tribes. Immerse yourself in the traditional lifestyle of the Hadzabe, a hunter-gatherer tribe celebrated for their exceptional hunting skills and deep bond with nature. Join them on a hunting excursion and gain insight into their ancient customs. Afterwards, visit the Datoga Tribe, renowned for their skilled blacksmithing and intricate beadwork.

Return to Lake Manyara for dinner and an overnight stay.

Surrounded by towering crater walls, you’ll encounter a dense concentration of wildlife, including over 20,000 large mammals, endangered black rhinos, lions, and a wide variety of bird species. Tour Olduvai Gorge; Visit a prehistoric archaeological site where ancient human fossils were discovered, earning it the title 'Cradle of Mankind.' Learn about the ground-breaking work of the Leakey family, pioneers in palaeoanthropology, and explore the rich history preserved at the Olduvai Museum. You will return to the lodge by 15:00 to freshen up before dinner and an overnight stay.

Our driver-guide will be on site to welcome you, after which you'll proceed briefly to the lodge to store your luggage and collect lunchboxes for your afternoon safari. You'll spend the rest of the day exploring the park, with a picnic or sundowner in the bush. Please note that today's arrangements are subject to change based on flight availability.

These two days are all about the beach! Just steps from your resort lies a stunning shoreline where you can relax at your own pace—whether that’s lounging on the sand, swimming in the crystal-clear waters, or simply soaking in the soothing sound of the waves. For those seeking more adventure, a variety of additional activities are available upon request, including water sports and beach picnics.
