On arrival at Entebbe International Airport – Meet our safari guide at the waiting area, he will offer luggage assistance with a transfer to the hotel. Upon check-in spend the rest of the day at leisure or opt for Entebbe Eco Tour (based on arrival time).

Pickup Time: 06:00AM. Early breakfast at the hotel and check-out. Thereafter, be dropped off at the airport for your flight to Bwindi. (Domestic flight check-in opens at 06:00am). Upon landing at either Kihihi or Kisoro Airstrip, you will be received by our safari guide and transfer to the lodge close to Bwindi Forest. Arrive and check-in to enjoy your lunch with the rest of this day at leisure. Dinner included.

Optional Activity (at 30$ pp.): Batwa Cultural Trail – This 3-hour trail exhibits a mutual relationship between the Batwa and the jungle before their expulsion, in the process of converting the forest into a protected reserve. In a bid to promote their unique heritage and traditions; the Batwa will walk you through their small pocket forests, showcasing a nomadic culture during their occupation of the rain forest. Approach the Batwa settlement and observe their traditional lifestyle. Explore their lifestyle (ranging from family setting, food preparation, hunting skills, to creating fire from rubbing sticks).

Pickup Time: 06:30AM. After an early breakfast you will be handed a lunchbox and mineral water to put in your backpack, then proceed to the park office.

Bwindi Gorilla Tracking Experience – Upon completing your park formalities, embark onto a once in a life time experience of tracking the endangered mountain gorillas. Once you meet the gorillas on a tracking adventure, you will be allowed between 1 to 2 hours watching and photographing the gentle apes including the silverback. This is perhaps one of the most breath-taking wildlife experience on earth!!!  On close encounter, you will stare at each other blankly not knowing who to break the long silence first. These massive primates are extremely rare, with less than 700 living today, but you will get within meters for stunning photography, but considering all the necessary safety measures. Gorilla tracking may be fairly strenuous lasting approximately an hour at a relatively high altitude. During the trek, your ranger guide will identify a safe spot for your picnic lunch after which you will proceed with the trek or back to the lodge (Subject to change). Wear hiking shoes, face mask, trousers, hand gloves, long-sleeves, insect repellent with water.

After gorilla tracking, return to the lodge – check-in and enjoy the rest of this afternoon at your free time. Best time for personal engagements. Dinner included.

Pickup Time: 06:30AM. Early breakfast and checkout, with a transfer back to the airstrip. Arrive and check-in for your flight back to Entebbe. In case you arrive earlier than your onward flight; a dayroom and lunch will be offered for an extra cost. Alternatively, you may opt for a Shoebill tour at Mabamba Swamp.
